Creating an Effective Legal Resume

Danielle Behrends will serve as a featured guest attorney for the St. Mary’s University School of Law orientation workshop, “Creating an Effective Legal Resume,” on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

The interactive session is designed to provide new law students with practical, hands-on guidance for crafting compelling legal resumes as they launch their legal careers. During the workshop, Ms. Behrends and other experienced attorneys will share their knowledge and perspective on what makes a legal resume stand out. Participants will gain:

• Insights on the importance of proper legal resume formatting.
• Guidance on how to highlight relevant skills and experience.
• Knowledge of common pitfalls to avoid.
• An opportunity for hands-on, self-editing with feedback from practicing attorneys and student ambassadors.
