Danielle Rushing Behrends Accepted for Participation in National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program

Dykema is proud to announce that Danielle Rushing Behrends was accepted to participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judge’s (NCBJ) annual Next Generation Program.
According to the NCBJ, program participants can be nominated by law firms, government agencies, and bankruptcy judges. Qualifications for participants include: 3-10 years of experience practicing law, devoting at least 50 percent of his/her practice to bankruptcy cases, demonstrating legal excellence, displaying a serious commitment to principles of civility, ethics, and professionalism, and demonstrating a commitment to the continued educational development of bankruptcy professionals and to professional activities that will benefit the public, members of the bar and the court system.
In her practice, Behrends has represented several multi-million dollar businesses, particularly in the oil and gas/energy, retail, national fitness chain, healthcare, and transportation industries, Chapter 11 Trustees, and a federal court-appointed receiver. She drafts and argues motions in state and federal courts. Rushing has received numerous accolades and other professional recognition in regard to her practice, leadership, community involvement, and pro bono efforts.
