Dykema is proud to announce that Danielle Rushing Behrends was selected to participate in Leadership San Antonio Class 48. She is one of 56 class members representing a diverse group of individuals from wide-ranging industries and backgrounds. 

Leadership San Antonio was created in 1975 by The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce to help identify and develop community leaders and is now considered the premier program for existing and emerging leaders in Bexar County and surrounding areas. The program, one of the first of its kind in Texas, has graduated more than 2,000 participants and focuses on delivering these leaders an opportunity to develop an understanding of the promise and challenges of our community.

Clients rely on Behrends for her resourceful, creative, and effective in and out of court restructuring advice. She looks for practical solutions and works to build a strategic plan that aligns with her client’s needs. In her practice, Behrends has represented several multi-million dollar businesses, particularly in the oil and gas/energy, retail, national fitness chain, healthcare, and transportation industries, Chapter 11 Trustees, and a federal court-appointed receiver. Behrends has received numerous accolades and other professional recognition in regard to her practice, leadership, community involvement, and pro bono efforts. Behrends earned a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a B.S. from Louisiana State University.
