Diann Bartek Appointed to the Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force

Dykema is proud to announce that Diann Bartek was appointed to serve as a member of the Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force, which will help develop curriculum for the county's Youth Leadership Academy and address other issues of poverty in Hidalgo County.

Earlier this year, the national service program AmeriCorps/VISTA awarded Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez’s office a $360,000 service grant to begin the Youth Leadership Academy.  The program's aim is to teach a new generation of policymakers in Hidalgo County the complexities of poverty. It will teach future leaders how government and non-governmental organizations can work together to mitigate poverty.
