DSO/Healthcare Attorney Jena E. Taft Joins Dykema’s Growing Dallas Office

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Jena Taft as a Senior Counsel in its Commercial Litigation Practice Group and Dental Service Organizations (DSO) Industry Group. She will be based out of the firm’s Dallas office while mostly working remotely in North Carolina. Taft joins Dykema after serving as in-house counsel at several dental support organizations varying in size, from small start-ups to 400+ location, national companies. She focuses her practice on healthcare regulatory work, compliance, and corporate law, with a particular focus on DSO & MSO risk management for operations and executive teams.

Taft has experience setting up corporate insurance and compliance programs, overseeing due diligence for acquisitions, and managing well-established programs’ risk departments. She also has significant experience with, and understanding of, doctor employment agreements, management agreements, vendor agreements, HIPAA, and privacy and data security regulations, as well as familiarity with a number of state dental regulations and dental boards.

Taft is the third Member or Senior Counsel-level lateral hire for Dykema’s Dallas office in 2023. She joins Justice David Schenck and Megan Knell as the firm’s most recent Dallas-based hires.

Taft earned her juris doctor from the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University. She is currently admitted to practice in North Carolina with Texas bar admission pending.
