Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Southwest Region has recognized the firm’s Business Development and Marketing Department by bestowing a First Place Your Honor Award to the firm for its Business Builder App. Dykema received the award during the LMA Southwest Regional Conference in New Orleans.

LMA Your Honor Awards recognize and celebrate creativity, execution, achievement, and overall excellence in legal marketing across a range of categories. Since 2018, Dykema has earned recognition with 14 separate LMA awards from the National, Southwest, and Midwest regions, including nine First Place designations.

Dykema’s winning Business Builder App was born out of the desire to continually engage attorneys to hone their business development acumen in the newly evolving hybrid work environment. The interactive “one-stop shop” meets attorneys where they are, allowing them to access resources on the go and keep business development top of mind, no matter how busy their schedules may get.

Dykema’s Business Builder App includes six categories of resources:

  • Success Stories – Personal takes and deep dive discussions from attorneys on their business development successes.
  • Tips of the Week – Weekly business development tips shared via push notifications that include ideas one can quickly put into practice.
  • Courses – On-demand programs created by the team, covering a wide range of business development topics.
  • Resources – Easily accessible resources to help attorneys to refresh bios, engage with LinkedIn, network like an all-star, and become more effective at business development.
  • Dykema Did You Know? – Noteworthy facts about the firm designed to improve cross-selling knowledge.
  • Discussion Forum – A venue to house and discuss business development ideas.

“We were looking for a way to keep business development top-of-mind for our attorneys, while also providing tools to be as helpful as possible. Plus, with the app, we are able to build a rich library of our firm’s collective knowledge,” said Linda Moss, Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer.
