Dykema Chosen as Counsel to Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in Buddy Mac Holdings, LLC’s Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Dykema has been selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the jointly administered Chapter 11 bankruptcies of Buddy Mac Holdings, LLC, and 48 of its affiliates. Buddy Mac Holdings operates rent-to-own furniture and appliance stores with household goods, including furniture, electronics, and appliances available to customers on a rent-to-own basis, offering an alternative to traditional purchases. The Debtors operate stores across Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, New Mexico, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Arkansas.
