Healthcare Bankruptcies: Complex Diagnosis, Difficult to Treat

Danielle Behrends served as Moderator for the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) Behind the Bench event, “Healthcare Bankruptcies: Complex Diagnosis, Difficult to Treat.” Behrends and the panel will discuss the role of regulators in various aspects of healthcare bankruptcies, including sales, reorganization, and liquidation; issues concerning real property leases, including sale-leaseback structures; difficulties of valuing healthcare companies in the context of sales and reorganization; and issues arising in Chapter 7 cases of healthcare businesses.
