Dykema, a leading national law firm, proudly announces that Michael Carey and Mickey Stevens have been named to Minnesota Lawyer’s Minnesota Legal 250 Business Litigation List for 2026. In conjunction with the recognition, both attorneys were profiled in a special feature highlighting the leaders, innovators, and advocates shaping Minnesota’s legal landscape.

According to Minnesota Lawyer, the Minnesota Legal 250 is the publication’s “premier recognition program celebrating the most influential and accomplished attorneys throughout the state.” The editorial team selects attorneys who have “experienced prolonged success and an ability to successfully navigate changing client needs, legal developments, technology, economic environments, and strong community engagement.”

Carey is one of the country’s leading defense lawyers in automotive and products liability litigation. He serves as Dykema's Minneapolis Office Managing Member and co-leader of the firm's electric and autonomous vehicles (E/AV) and advanced mobility team.

Stevens is an experienced litigator who represents automotive manufacturers, financial institutions, and other businesses in complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. 

Carey earned a J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.A. from St. John’s University. Stevens earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas.
