Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced that Peter Grace, Bloomfield Hills-based associate in Dykema’s Business Litigation Group, was elected to the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly, representing Oakland County.
In 1971, as State Bar membership increased, the State Bar Board of Commissioners requested that the Supreme Court create a "representative assembly," to improve the proportion of members who may actively participate in bar policy-making to ensure that a reasonable ratio was maintained to reflect the lawyer population from the state's judicial districts.
Grace earned a J.D., cum laude, from The Wayne State University Law School and a B.A. from The University of California, Los Angeles.
