Dykema is proud to announce that Sean Griffin was appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the DRI Center for Law and Public Policy's Data Privacy and Protection Working Group. Griffin's term is effective immediately.

DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. DRI consists of 29 substantive committees whose focus is to develop ongoing and critical dialogue about areas of practice.

In his practice, Griffin litigates complicated contract disputes—many of which involve allegations of fraud. He represents various organizations, including government contractors, transportation companies, and law firms. Additionally, as an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), he helps clients establish and maintain data security, respond to data breaches, and litigate privacy cases. Applying his unique experience as a former Department of Justice trial attorney, Griffin litigates government contract claims, defends False Claims Act litigation, and responds to state and federal subpoenas.

Griffin earned a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Harvard College.
