Dykema announced today that Todd Schebor was elected as the Chair of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, beginning October 2023.

The Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan aims to review those laws and regulations dealing with the conservation and development of the natural resources of Michigan and its environment and to promote the fair and just administration of those laws and regulations which implement the mandate of Article IV, Section 52, of the 1963 Constitution of Michigan.

Schebor’s clients are in the energy, waste disposal, petroleum, manufacturing, and other sectors that deal with the unique challenges of ever-changing regulatory requirements and law. He defends clients in civil proceedings or regulatory actions, including those involving cleanups (CERCLA, RCRA, and Michigan’s Part 201 and 213 programs), underground storage tanks, waste management, water discharge, wetlands, eminent domain, land use, and restrictive covenant matters.

Schebor received a L.L.M from Lewis and Clark Law School, a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.S. from the University of Michigan.
