Dykema has a new blog—the sixth in its roster of “web log” offerings. Called “SerendIPity” it can be found at www.ip-lawblog.com. We invite you to visit and bookmark this URL.

The blog will share information and insights on a wide range of IP topics that range from developments in patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets; to trends and recent court actions in IP litigation and prosecution; to updates on U.S. Patent Trademark Office (USPTO), Copyright Office, and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings.

The site is edited by two Dykema IP practitioners: Victor Johnson, Dallas-based member whose practice focuses on IP litigation (including patent, trademark, brand protection, domain name disputes and other matters of unfair competition), and Marsha Gentner (Washington, D.C. attorney whose practice focuses on trademark, technology and copyright law, with particular emphasis on litigation and licensing).

Blog contributors to-date include Eric Fingerhut (Washington, D.C.-based member and leader of the Firm’s Trademark practice), Aaron Charfoos (Chicago-based member who specializes in complex patent and trademark litigation), and Andrew Buczek and Mary Beth McGowan (each a Government Policy Advisor resident in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office).
