Eric Fingerhut Speaks About SCOTUS Ruling for Booking.com in IPWatchdog

Eric T. Fingerhut, Managing Member of Dykema’s Washington, D.C., office and former leader of the firm’s Trademark and Copyright practice, was quoted in the IPWatchdog article, “The Consumer is King: High Court Sides with Booking.com, Rejecting Per Se Test for Generic.Com Trademarks.”

The article discussed the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in favor of Booking.com in a trademark matter involving Generic.com brands. Fingerhut said it was “…a good day for owners of Generic.com brands and domainers sitting on stockpiles of generic domain names.”
