Marsha Gentner, Washington, D.C.-based Senior Counsel in Dykema’s Intellectual Property practice group, was quoted in the Bloomberg IP Law article, “Google Copyright Win Fuels Debate Over When Copying is Changing.”

In the article, Gentner discussed the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in the long-running copyright battle between Google and Oracle. She also commented on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruling in the case of Andy Warhol’s use of a photo of Prince, which she said was “needed pushback” against the trend of transformative use.
