Thomas Moga Discusses Options for Next USPTO Head in IPWatchdog

Thomas Moga, Bloomfield Hills-based Senior Counsel in Dykema’s Intellectual Property practice group, was quoted in the IPWatchdog article, “The Right Choice: IP Stakeholders Emphasize Practical Experience, Strong IP Advocacy in Next USPTO Head.”

In the article, a panel of IP stakeholders discussed potential choices for the new Under Secretary of Commerce for IP and the Director of USPTO. Although the nomination will not likely happen for several more months, Moga described the characteristics he believes the candidate must possess and named a potential nominee.
