Jason Ross Points Out Increased Use of Federal Travel Act for Health Care Fraud in Law360

Jason Ross, Dallas-based member in Dykema’s Litigation Department, was quoted in the Law360 article, “Texas Atty Cops To Passing PACER Docs To Drug Traffickers.”

In the article, Ross described the Travel Act, a 60-year-old federal law, and its more recent use in the fight against health care fraud, foreign corruption, and international drug trafficking. He said the use of the law against drug trafficking “could signal another new frontier in Travel Act cases.”
