R. Lance Boldrey Quoted in the Detroit Free Press

February 15, 2016

R. Lance Boldrey, Lansing-based member of Dykema’s Gaming & Indian Law practice group, was quoted in the Detroit Free Press article, “Failed Wayne Co. horse track tied to new casino plan.”

Boldrey believes the tribe has some interesting legal theories that could take them a long way toward satisfying federal requirements, but ultimately lose its fight because of restrictions in the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, which generally prohibits new off-reservation casinos.
