James Brady Talks about Michigan Barriers to Open Government in The Bridge

James S. Brady, Grand Rapids-based senior counsel in Dykema’s Business and Commercial Litigation practice, was quoted in the article “Want Info on Michigan Governments? Get Out Your Wallet and Prepare to Wait,” which appeared in The Bridge.

Commenting on the inordinately expensive and complicated process of requesting state and municipal records, Brady sees little improvement in the process and warns of the dangers to FOIA rights such impediments might lead to.
