Dykema to Host and Malven, Alleman and Halfon to Speak at the World Services Group 2019 Annual Meeting

Three members of Dykema’s Automotive Industry Group—Mark Malven, who Leads the firm’s Technology and Outsourcing Transactions practice group, Tom Alleman, Co-Director of the firm’s Insurance Industry Group, and Jesse Halfon, attorney in Dykema’s Litigation Department—will all serve as featured speakers at the World Services Group 2019 Annual Meeting, which takes place Sept. 4-6 in Washington, D.C. Dykema is also serving as co-host for the entire event.

All three Dykema attorneys will speak as a part of the same panel discussion, titled “Taking the Wheel: The Connected Car Market Disruption to Shared-Mobility and Worldwide IoT,” which is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Malven will serve as the Moderator of the panel, while Alleman and Halfon will serve as co-panelists.

The panel discussion will address how autonomous vehicles will be regulated, how associated policy-making initiatives will create opportunities for deployment, how privacy and security may be affected and what steps will be taken to protect this information.
