Dykema’s Work Advising a 2014 Health Care Merger Will be Recognized as M&A Deal of the Year by Crain’s Detroit Business

Dykema is proud to announce that the firm’s work advising Oakwood Healthcare in a merger with Beaumont Health System and Botsford Hospital was recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business when it named the transaction "Deal of the Year over $100 million." The parties involved will be recognized at the Crain’s 2015 M&A Awards on Tuesday, May 12 at the Troy Marriott.

The deal, which took about nine months to unfold, created the largest health system in Southeast Michigan. The new Beaumont Health has approximately 33,000 employees, 5,000 physicians, 153 outpatient sites, and 3,500 volunteers.
