Andrew J. Kolozsvary, senior attorney in the Firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group, has been named as one of 20 “Up and Coming Lawyers” in 2012 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. This special honor, presented annually, is conferred by the publication upon a select group of Michigan attorneys who have practiced law for 10 years or less, have distinguished themselves in their chosen practice and/or community service, and seem poised to accomplish even greater things.

Kolozsvary’s nomination was recommended by three of the Firm’s key members: Dan Stephenson, leader of the Litigation Department; Pat Hickey, leader of the Firm’s Labor & Employment practice; and Pat Stanton, leader of the Business Litigation practice. All three cited Kolozsvary’s contributions to the Residential Funding Co. v. Saurman case, his developing fiduciary duty practice, and his dedication to client service.

Kolozsvary and his fellow “Up and Coming Lawyers” will be profiled in an upcoming issue of Michigan Lawyers Weekly and feted at a December 6 luncheon in Troy, Michigan.

Michigan Lawyers Weekly is the state’s leading legal newspaper, providing reports on legal opinions from state and federal courts in Michigan, verdict & settlement reports, changes to court rules and all other news vital to attorneys in the state.
