Chris Kratovil, Managing Member of Dykema’s Dallas office and member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Appellate practice groups, comments on the Texas Citizens Participation Act (TCPA)—the state’s anti-SLAPP law—in the Texas Lawyer article “Bill to Limit Attorneys’ Ability to Win Anti-SLAPP Dismissals Just Passed Texas House.”

The Texas House passed House Bill 2730, which will limit attorneys’ ability to win anti-SLAPP dismissals. In the article, Kratovil points out that TCPA has been used in any type of civil litigation involving any aspect of human communications and is in need of reform.
