Mark Malven, Ann Arbor-based member and leader of Dykema’s Technology and Outsourcing Transactions practice, is the subject of a Q&A interview—“Drafter’s Guide to Technology Transactions”—in the March 2015 issue of Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, a monthly publication distributed to nearly 20,000 top-tier executives.

In the interview, Malven discusses a treatise he authored entitled, “Technology Transactions: A Practical Guide to Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Contracts,” including how the Practising Law Institute (PLI) contacted him to write the treatise to fill a missing segment in their published offerings.

Malven further highlights that the book is divided into two parts, with Part One discussing specific types of commercial agreements used in technology transactions, and Part Two covering IP basics and a number of regulatory- and privacy-related areas that broadly pertain to technology transactions.
