Drew McEwen and Kevin Oldham Co-Author Article for Inside Counsel

Austin-based attorneys Drew McEwen and Kevin Oldham, members in Dykema’s Tax Group, co-authored an article—“Being an effective inside counsel for your company’s tax department,”—which appeared in Inside Counsel.

In the article, McEwen and Oldham discuss proactive steps that inside counsel can take in order to adequately monitor, identify and understand tax matters, such as establishing effective lines of communication with the tax department, understanding the organization’s tax matters at the federal, state and local level, and being involved with the organization’s third-party tax firm.
