Dykema is pleased to announce that Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has appointed Rex Schlaybaugh to the Michigan Natural Resources Commission for a four-year term expiring December 31, 2015.

Rex will be part of a seven-member commission that works with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in ways to conserve, protect, manage, use and enjoy the state's natural resources—including wildlife, fisheries, timber and minerals, water and harbor resources, along with related resources—for current and future generations.

This latest leadership role follows Rex's reelection in October to a three-year term as a member of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation Board of Directors, and a one-year term as a member of the DEGC Executive Committee. He also serves on the boards of several other organizations and business entities, including the Detroit Economic Club, the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition and the John Hancock Life Insurance Company.
