March 29, 2016

Stephen L. Tupper, Bloomfield Hills-based member and leader of Dykema’s Aviation Transactions Team, was profiled in Civil Air Patrol Volunteer magazine, the official publication of the Civil Air Patrol - United States Air Force Auxiliary.

In 2015, Tupper was named the lead legal officer and judge advocate for the Michigan Wing of Civil Air Patrol (CAP). The article, titled "The Sky's the Limit," highlights Tupper's personal involvement with aviation.

In his role with the CAP, Tupper advises the command staff in matters such as air operations, government contracts and other personnel matters, as well as represent the CAP in a number of proceedings. Tupper, who is also a CAP lieutenant colonel, has been a part of CAP for 12 years and has also served in roles that include deputy squadron commander and search-and-rescue/disaster-relief pilot.
