Michael Wippler Nominated as a “Leader in Law” by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Michael Wippler, Office Managing Member of Dykema’s Los Angeles office, is a Los Angeles Business Journal nominee for its annual “Leader in the Law” awards.  On October 18, 2016, the Los Angeles Business Journal recognized Wippler and other nominees at a luncheon held at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live.

This year marked the first year that the Los Angeles Business Journal recognized both firm attorneys and general counsel.  According to the Los Angeles Business Journal, candidates in each category were recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.

In his practice, Wippler focuses on business counseling, litigation, and the negotiation and documentation of business and real estate transactions.  He has negotiated and documented real estate and business transactions in the United States, Latin America, and Asia.  His clients include real estate developers, medical device manufacturers, OEMs, and automobile manufacturers and individuals.

Wippler, who serves on the Board of Directors for both the Hiller Aviation Museum and Celebrate Forever, earned a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, an Advanced Studies Certificate from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (United Kingdom), and a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
