Co-leader of Dykema's Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice Moderates Transmission Panel at Infocast Conference

CHICAGO—Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that it is sponsoring a conference entitled "Projects & Money" at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside on January 11-13, 2010. This seminar is designed for leading project developers, capital providers and contractors to help them move project deals forward in the credit and capital environment of 2010.

Jeffrey M. Dalebroux, a Chicago-based corporate finance attorney and co-leader of Dykema's Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice Area, will moderate a "Transmission Outlook" panel which will discuss the prospects of new, independently developed transmission projects on Tuesday, January 12.

Dalebroux's work on complex mergers and acquisitions has helped change the composition and structure of the nation's energy suppliers; distributors and transmission facilities; the industry's infrastructure components; and other public and private companies in the manufacturing, financial services and retail sectors. He is a member of the firm's Executive Board.

Active in the field of energy infrastructure finance, he works with co-operatives, joint ventures, public and private entities, municipalities, public-private partnerships (PPPs), equity funds and lenders to acquire, fund, develop and operate a variety of projects. Clients, both on the buying and selling side of transactions, have come to rely on Dalebroux's in-depth knowledge of the energy field and its infrastructure requirements, as well as his familiarity with its key players and the regulations that guide them.

Recently, Dalebroux helped put together transactions that included an energy co-op's acquisition of electric and gas distribution systems in a variety of states around the country. He also helped to further an energy transmission company's reach via a series of joint ventures and strategic alliances and counseled in a public company's sale of subsidiaries located in Illinois, Texas, Belgium and India.
