Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that Darrell E. Jordan, Office Managing Member of its Dallas office, was named a 2009 Super Lawyer by Law & Politics, which performs the polling, research, and selection of Super Lawyers in a process designed to identify Texas lawyers within 60 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. He was also listed in the 2009 Corporate Counsel edition. In addition, associate Neal G. Massandwas named a 2009 Rising Star. In 1998, the publishers of Law & Politics and Super Lawyers launched Rising Stars to recognize the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Mr. Jordan has been recognized as a Super Lawyer annually since the inception of the award in 2003 and received recognition in the corporate counsel edition in 2008 as well. Mr. Jordan has long been considered a leader in the legal profession and is active throughout the Dallas community. He has been honored for his leadership roles within the legal community on many occasions.Those leadership roles include serving as President of the State Bar of Texas, President of the Dallas Bar Association, and as a member of the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Massand's practice focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation. He has been involved in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial and post-trial practice. His experience includes patent and trademark litigation, contract litigation, employment litigation, and patent and trademark prosecution. Mr. Massand is a Registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
