Dalton Joins Dykema In Dallas

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Michael J. Dalton to its Real Estate Practice Group as a member in the firm’s Dallas office. Dalton was previously a partner at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

Dalton has broad experience in all commercial transactions, but focuses his practice on the representation of developers and investors of commercial real estate as well as financial institutions and other lenders in loan transactions, foreclosures, workouts and other distressed debt situations. He has extensive experience in complex commercial transactions including equity investments, acquisitions, dispositions, financings and development of improved and unimproved property. He has represented individuals, financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, REITs and domestic and international clients in structuring, negotiating and drafting documentation for, among other matters, equity investments, acquisitions, loans, leases, multi-use developments, restructures and workouts.

At Dykema, Dalton will focus on general transactional work and financings for both corporate and real estate clients.

He received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Georgetown University.
