Dykema Member Speaks At SHRM Conference In Toronto

Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that Debra M. McCulloch, a Member with over 25 years of experience in employment law and commercial litigation, is scheduled to speak at the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Global Conference & Exposition being held March 30-April 1, 2009 at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, Ontario. Ms. McCulloch will speak on the topic, "Navigating US Employment Law: An Overview of Employment Law Issues and Trends Facing Foreign Owned Multinationals."

Ms. McCulloch’s experience in employment-related matters includes successfully defending clients in cases involving harassment, discrimination, wrongful discharge, torts and class actions. She has experience in representing clients before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.

Her clients represent a broad range of industries and include companies in the food and beverage, retail, delivery/logistics, information services, energy and automotive sectors as well as universities and hospitals. She credits living abroad for two years and earning an LL.M. in international law from the University of London, London School of Economics for ability to deliver creative, practical legal solutions with a global perspective.

A resident of Bloomfield Hills, Ms. McCulloch received a B.S., with high honors, from Michigan State University, a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan, and an LL.M. from the University of London, London School of Economics.
