Dykema Ranks In U.S. News-Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms"

Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that it has been ranked in 29 practice areas in the just released 2010 U.S. News –Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" rankings. U.S. News Media Group, the nation's leading source of rankings and service journalism, and Best Lawyers, the leading survey of lawyers worldwide, have completed their ranking of the top law firms in the United States. This is the first year that the U.S. signature series will include rankings of law firms.

Reputational survey responses were combined with the evaluations of individual lawyers in the most recent Best Lawyers survey of leading lawyers to rank the firms. Hard numbers were also used to develop the practice area rankings — data regarding the numbers of lawyers and their previous experience, numbers of clients within different billing ranges, numbers of transactions and litigation matters at different dollar levels; pro-bono commitment, diversity, and other objective data.

Dykema was nationally ranked in Labor Law-Management, Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization, Corporate Law and General Commercial Litigation. The firm also ranked in the top tier in 26 legal specialties in five Metropolitan areas:
