Ashley R. Fickel Joins Dykema In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - Dykema Gossett PLLC announced today the addition of associate attorney Ashley R. Fickel to the firm's Financial Services Litigation practice in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Dykema, Fickel was a litigation associate at Yukevich Calfo & Cavanaugh. He also formerly served as judicial extern for the Honorable Lourdes G. Baird in the United States District Court in the Central District of California.

Fickel focuses his practice in financial services litigation and has significant experience handling professional liability, products liability and construction litigation, with a particular concentration on high exposure catastrophic injury cases in state and federal court on behalf of Fortune 50 companies. He is experienced with handling cases from inception to trial, and has served as a counselor to clients regarding issues of legal strategy and liability. At Dykema, Fickel will concentrate his practice on the representation of financial institutions in the defense of suits, including class actions, arising under various federal and state laws.

Fickel earned his B.A. in History from Westmont College in 1997 and his J.D. cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2004, where he served as a senior staff member of the Pepperdine Law Review. He has also been recognized twice as a California "Rising Star" by Law and Politics Magazine in the area of litigation.
