Darryll V. Marshall Joins Dykema as Senior Counsel in Chicago

Dykema announces that Daryll Vann Marshall has joined the firm as senior counsel in the Corporate Finance Practice Group, resident in the firm’s Chicago office. Marshall comes to Dykema from Kirkland & Ellis, where he served as a corporate partner. Marshall has extensive experience in areas of financing and secured transactions, leveraged acquisitions and restructuring. His practice focuses on representing corporate borrowers, private equity groups and financial institutions in secured and unsecured transactions, including senior, mezzanine and bridge financings and refinancing. He also has extensive experience representing borrowers in large complex restructurings, including out-of-court restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings and Chapter 11 exit financings. He has significant experience in first and second lien financings, subordinated loans, loan repurchase agreements and amend and extends. Additionally, he has worked with asset-based financings and synthetic letter of credit facilities. Transactions led by Mr. Marshall have ranged in size from the tens of millions to the several billions of dollars.

Marshall will also contribute to Dykema’s Automotive Industry Group, having extensive experience representing a variety of firms in the global automotive supplier industry—ranging from Fortune 500 companies to smaller, independently-owned enterprises—in financing needs that range from secured lending and acquisition finance matters to distressed and Chapter 11 financing actions.

Marshall has a B.B.A. in Finance from Temple University (Dean’s List) and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
