Dykema, a leading national law firm, announced today that Eric T. Fingerhut and Jennifer Fraser, Washington, D.C.-based members in Dykema’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, were each ranked in World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000 2017). Both Fingerhut and Fraser, as well as Dykema, received recognition in the United States: DC Metro Area category. This marks the sixth-consecutive year that both Fingerhut and Fraser have been recognized as top practitioners.

Each year, the World Trademark Review 1000 recognizes the leading national and international trademark practitioners from around the globe. Both Fingerhut, Leader of Dykema’s Trademark Practice, and Fraser were individually recognized for “enforcement and litigation” as well as “prosecution and strategy.”

According to WTR 1000 2017, Fingerhut is:

"a pillar of support for those seeking high-level strategy and counseling. 'He is exceptional in prosecution and has a lot of experience with domain names, too. Personable, knowledgeable and very client focused, he has a good head on his shoulders.' Although adept in disputes, Fingerhut is a deal maker, not a deal breaker; his shrewd judgement often leads both his client and the opposing side down the most painless route.”

When speaking of Fraser, WTR 1000 2017 stated:

"A former examiner of the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Fraser brings a rare level of percipience to the non-contentious side of the practice. However, she is also a fierce enforcer; she recently chaired a case for SKF USA, a world leader in rolling bearings and related technologies, and settled it the night before trial."

WTR 1000 2017 describes Dykema's practice thusly:

Quick at spotting trouble and able to devise creative solutions, the tight-knit branding squad at Dykema Gossett knows what it takes to keep clients happy. Its unique government policy practice adds further value to its offering, as strong ties to policymakers enable patrons’ voices to be heard on key trademark topics."

Through an extensive research process conducted by a team of highly qualified, full-time analysts, WTR 1000 identifies the leading trademark law firms and individuals in more than 70 global jurisdictions.
