Kevin M. Sanchez

Senior Attorney

Kevin M. Sanchez is an associate attorney in Dykema's McAllen office where he focuses on commercial and consumer litigation.

Kevin graduated with honors from St. Mary's University in May of 2017. While in law school, Kevin worked for Senator John Cornyn researching issues and drafting memos related to his work on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Kevin also worked at the 4th Court of Appeals in San Antonio where he helped author drafts of opinions for the Honorable Marialyn Barnard.

Prior to joining Dykema, Kevin worked for two and a half years practicing insurance defense in South Texas. Kevin dedicated the bulk of his practice defending first-party claims for a large national insurance carrier. Kevin has defended insurers in countless bad faith property damage cases resulting from hurricanes and wind/hail storms throughout Texas.

Kevin also represents insurers in first-party claims involving automobile accidents. In addition to having defended UM/UIM claims in Texas, Kevin reviews insurers claims handling of third-party cases around the country for potential bad faith claims.

Before undertaking a career in law, Kevin worked as a news and sports reporter for Channel 4 News, the CBS affiliate in the Rio Grande Valley.
