Thomas B. Alleman, Dallas-based member in Dykema’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and Director of the firm’s Insurance Industry Group, has authored, “Coming to Terms With Contractual Liability Coverage,” the second part of his indemnity insurance guidelines in Texas Lawyer.

In his article, Alleman focuses on the much-misunderstood contractual liability clauses in CGL (commercial general liability) policies, and warns of how different scenarios and varying state laws may determine when the exclusions are/are not applicable.
