Jimmy Azadian, Los Angeles-based Member of Dykema’s Appellate Practice Group, authored the Daily Journal article, “Justices seem poised to uphold the Affordable Care Act.”

In the article, Azadian discussed the three main issues of the cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, including, “(1) whether the plaintiffs have standing to sue; (2) whether the act's individual mandate is still constitutional; and (3) whether the rest of the act can be severed if the individual mandate is unconstitutional.” Azadian said it is likely the cases will be decided in early summer 2021.
