Dykema’s Bloomfield Hills-based attorneys, Stephen R. Estey, Lauren A. Evers and Peter M. Grace, co-authored the Michigan Bar Journal article “Virtual Reality – Navigating Land Use and Zoning Decisions in the COVID-19 Era.”

In the article, Estey, Evers and Grace provide background on Michigan’s Executive Order No. 2070-75 which temporarily suspends certain requirements of the state’s Open Meetings Act. They present scenarios in which virtual meeting decisions could be challenged, as well as guidance for conducting virtual meetings.
