Appellate Advocacy in the Age of COVID-19

Jill M. Wheaton, Ann Arbor-based member and leader of Dykema’s Appellate Practice and Product Liability and Class Action Litigation Practice, authored an article for the American Bar Association’s Appellate Issues publication titled, “Appellate Advocacy in the Age of COVID-19.”

In the article, Wheaton summarized panelists’ recommendations from the ABA Appellate Judges Council webinar regarding presenting appellate arguments via videoconference or telephone. She outlined presentation tips for court staff, judges, and practitioners.
