James S. Azadian, Los Angeles-based member in Dykema’s Commercial Litigation and Appellate Practice Groups, authored an article for The Daily Journal depicting his selection of the top five Ninth Circuit civil cases from 2019.

According to Azadian, this year’s top cases include:

  1. Robles v. Domino’s Pizza, LLC;
  2. Monster Energy Company v. City Beverages;
  3. Biel v. St. James School, and Morrissey-Berru v. Our Lady of Guadalupe School;
  4. Vazquez v. Jan-Pro Franchising Int’l Inc. (now before the California Supreme Court); and
  5. In re Hyundai and Kia Fuel Economy Litigation.
