Cannabis Regulations and EHS – An Overview

Grant Gilezan, Leader of Dykema’s Environmental Practice Group, co-authored the first in a series of articles for Cannabis Business Executive on environmental issues in the cannabis industry titled “Cannabis Regulations and EHS – An Overview.” Gilezan co-authored the article with Gerald Hincka, Senior Consultant with EHS Support, LLC.

The article discusses the importance of understanding and adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety (“EHS”) regulations. It also describes the challenging complexities of regulatory compliance on multiple levels for businesses of all sizes within the Cannabis Industry and recommends a proactive approach to EHS to manage risk and strengthen the local community business profile.
