Thomas Vaughn was interviewed for Smart Business' February, 2012 article, "Preparing for a Sale." The article addresses the preparations necessary for the sale of a business, and the importance of starting these preparations sooner, rather than later. Said Vaughn, "If somewhere down the road you think you might sell your company, you need to be concerned about the due diligence review the buyer will conduct." Vaughn goes on to highlight companies can do to prepare for such an event—from record keeping to human resources and intellectual property.
