Secured language in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to require the Federal Reserve and the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) to collaborate and coordinate with the foreign regulator of a foreign nonbank financial institution whose U.S. subsidiary may be directed by the Federal Reserve or FSOC to increase its capital or respond to other regulatory compliance for financial safety and soundness purposes.
