Mark Chutkow was featured in the Detroit Free Press to provide insights on one of the most high-profile domestic terrorism trials in U.S. history.

Ahead of a retrial for two men charged with plotting to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Chutkow, a former federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorneys Office in Detroit, was tapped for his opinion of the trial’s troublesome jury selection process. Says Chutkow:

"If the judge excluded the parties from these hearings, that could cause an issue on appeal if the defendant can show the matter was serious, potentially impacted the verdict and the inquiry was deficient.”
