Avecina Medical operates urgent care clinics that provide walk-in medical services for non-life-threatening conditions. Their clinics are designed to offer quick, convenient, and more affordable care compared to emergency rooms, without requiring appointments. They treat a wide range of common health issues, including minor injuries like sprains and cuts, illnesses such as colds and infections, and provide services like physical exams, STD testing, and diagnostic tools such as X-rays and lab work. With multiple locations, primarily in Florida, and extended hours that often include evenings and weekends, Avecina Medical focuses on making everyday healthcare more accessible and efficient for patients who need prompt attention but not emergency-level care.

Through this partnership, HCA Healthcare has now added 18 urgent care locations across Jacksonville and Central Florida.
