Government Policy Advisor Andre Jordan Joins Dykema’s Chicago Office

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Andre Jordan as a government policy advisor in the firm’s Chicago office. He will also work extensively in Springfield, Illinois. Jordan joins Dykema with more than 20 years of experience working within the Illinois General Assembly and Executive Branch.

For the past two decades, Jordan has developed strategic relationships throughout state and local government in Illinois. He began his career as an analyst for the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and has served in legislative leadership roles for the Senate Democratic Caucus, Secretary of State Jesse White, and Governor J.B. Pritzker.

Most recently, Jordan served as the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Illinois Department of Human Services. He also spent time with AARP, holding the positions of Associate State Director for Advocacy and Outreach and Interim Director of the Office of Community Engagement.

Jordan serves as a trustee of Springfield’s Abraham Lincoln Library board. He is a graduate of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2019, as well as the FBI Citizen Academy.

He earned an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield and a B.A. from Mississippi Valley State University.
