Mike Carey, Tamara Bush, and Lyndsey Jackson will serve as featured presenters at the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s (ABA TIPS) 2026 Motor Vehicle Product Liability Conference, taking place April 15–17 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event is widely regarded as the premier automotive product litigation CLE, bringing together leading industry professionals to address the most pressing regulatory, technical, and legal challenges in automotive litigation. On Thursday, April 16, Jackson will present “Battery Pack Removal and Teardowns in HEV/BEV Fire Investigations.” This session will cover the dismantling and removal of high-voltage battery packs following fire events, including on-site assessment, handling and transportation, lab-based teardown, and storage considerations.
