Wheaton has also served on appellate sections and committees for several professional legal industry organizations, including the Defense Research Institute, Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society, Michigan Appellate Bench-Bar, and State Bar of Michigan.

Wheaton earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan.

Magyar is a member of Dykema’s Business Litigation practice group and its Appellate and Critical Motions team. In 2023, Magyar was reelected to the Council of the Michigan State Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section, on which Magyar has served since 2016.
